We Empower You

I can't say enough wonderful things about Empower Martial Arts. My VERY active son started there a year ago, when he was four and loved it from the minute he began. Over the past year we have seen such an improvement in his behavior, much thanks to the weekly life skills he has learned at Empower. The instructors were all patient and friendly. We are moving out of state and are definitely sad to leave this place!

I have been training here with my son for eight years, and we are constantly growing and developing our martial arts craft. Shihan Shir and the team of instructors support the environment we look for in a martial arts studio. As we know, not everyone is looking for the same thing, but the key to this group is they take the time to know their students and understand what motivates them. And while the specific class learns a common technique/skill, the instructors know what drives and motivates their students to make a "common" class a very unique experience for an individual.

As an adult, it is great to work out with a group of people who share a common interest in martial arts and the true desire to work hard - to grind - through a workout, whether its a basic martial arts technique or something very complex or physical.

My official review is for 10 stars. Empower teaches not only martial arts, but also respect for both community and family as well as personal and social discipline. All the teachers are incredible. The movie nights, picnics, holiday parties, and Halloween are not to he missed either. Additionally, my child is shown the benefits of hard work and dedication to her craft. Empower is absolutely incredible, but if you doubt me walk in the doors and check them out. It won't take long to see just how incredible Empower is.

My family thinks Empower Martial Arts is a great place!!! We've been going there around two years and we love it. The teachers are amazing and the families there are friendly. They offer several classes to accommodate different schedules and there are a lot of extra events to attend for fun. We are really happy!!

We started with Empower Martial Arts since 2012. We fell in love with then Master, now Shihan Shir. Her personality, attentiveness and teaching style towards the children was unbelievable. My daughter was only 4 then. She is now an advanced purple belt at 8 years old. Thank you for building her confidence and teaching her Martial arts.

I had my daughter enrolled there and the experience she is having is amazing compared to all other places she used to go before. This is more than a simple dojo. The staff are friendly and the activities span beyond martial art and have an excellent healthy environment of discipline, caring and sportsmanship. We love their parents night out and they were more gracious to accept my youngest who is not enrolled there. Kids also have a great healthy environment to mingle and play. Highly recommended.

We love Empower Martial Arts! My son has been a student here for over a year and loves it. It has helped with discipline, focus and confidence. Also a great shout out to the entire staff for always helping me out when my younger one gets restless while the older one is in class. They all seem to step up with assisting my son with parent participation or watching my younger one so I can participate. Great quality and service!
